What does it mean to Focus?
Today I’d like to talk a little bit about focus. What does it mean to focus? In our world right now we’re busy doing computers, texting, phones, and all the things busy talking and we’re multi-tasking. As a matter of fact, multi-tasking is actually really not multi-tasking. It’s just being able to zip from one thing to another, because we are never doing 2 things at the same time. Imagine though, when you’re focused on one thing, and one thing only. I remember a few years ago and my coach said to me, “Liliane, pick a piece of the pie and eat it”. Because I had all these pies with tons of pieces and all these things that I wanted to do. This year in particular is one of those years where I am saying I’m focusing on something particular. The difference, the difference we make in the world, and in focusing on something I become intentional. Intention creates energy that will bring more of what we want. So that’s focus. How do you focus? What is your intention? What do you want? We all know what we don’t want so how do you focus on what you do want?
